Social Media Platforms Ban Independent Pan-African Media ‘AFRICAN STREAM’ After US Government Deemed It As Russian Propaganda
Progressive independent African media ‘African Stream’ which made a big splash onto the scene with core journalist and reporters covering African related issues live from around the world including Congo, Sudan, UK, Haiti & More has been banned on all main social media platforms which includes Facebook, Instagram and Youtube where they had prominent followers.
There are now subjected to their only alternative platforms on twitter and Tiktok. The ban followed an announcement made by the United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken. According to false statements made “RT also secretly runs the online platform African Stream, across a wide range of social media platforms”…”The only voice it (African Stream) give is to Kremlin propagandist”. Watch below.
While Africans argue about which of the African-resource-evacuation/Lobito-Corridor parties in DC to support in November (because the U.S. is really a militarised 1-party state divided only on issues like pronouns, Algerian Olympic boxers, and fictitious cat-eating Haitians),… pic.twitter.com/I04aKMm331

Shortly after this statement, the owners of African Stream announced that their social media platforms that they have worked hard to build a following on hard all been shut down. A major blow for those that unfortunately have based their progress on such.
According to the outlet they published the following “African Stream has been banned by Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. We were censored after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made false, unsubstantiated claims against us on Friday. To be clear, contrary to the accusations, African Stream does not receive any funding from any state. We will shorty release a full statement regarding our work, our funding and these accusations.”
African Stream was founded by the brilliant Ahmed Kaballo, a refugee from Sudan who believed it was his duty to ensure that Africans around the world get an opportunity to voice the realities of atrocities in their homelands as well as expose the culprits and perpertrators behind, of which in many cases the involvement of western nations were uncovered.
But African Stream is not the first opposition to the imperial globalists that has been dubbed as Russian propaganda, last year members of US based African liberation organization known as the Uhuru movement were arrested on such charges. A jury in federal court handed down a mixed verdict in the case that alleges four members of the Uhuru group, that has a base in St. Petersburg, conspired with Russians to interfere in American politics.
The suspects were convicted of conspiring with Russian agents, but acquitted of the even more serious charge of acting as agents of a foreign government. The organization is responsible for the media newspaper The Burning Spear.
The Russian association seems to now be the justifiable tool to shut down all opposition to the US government and it’s crimes around the world. We have seen the act played out countlessly with the rise of Donald Trump, and as far as Africa goes, even Kwame Nkrumah was accused of being a Soviet-linked communist, and the 1966 coup in Ghana was the result. Whenever any African leader emerged with a vision for national or regional growth and independence, the immediate accusation that followed was “The Russians are sponsoring him.”
